• is, am, are’ का प्रयोग बिना किसी अन्य Verb के किया जाए तो इन्हें Linking/Complement Verbs कहा जाता है।
• ये किसी ‘noun (संज्ञा) या pronoun (सर्वनाम) की पहचान, विशेषता या स्थिति को दर्शाती हैं।
• ‘Am’ का प्रयोग कर्ता ‘I’ के साथ, is का प्रयोग एकवचन कर्ता के साथ जबकि are का प्रयोग बहुवचन कर्ता के साथ होता है।
• Has’ 711 ‘Have got them for at fonti SpA Verb के किया जाये तो ये अधिकार अथवा सम्बन्ध के अर्थ को दर्शाती हैं।
• Have’ का प्रयोग कर्ता ‘I’ तथा बहुवचन कर्ता | (Plural Subject) के साथ, जबकि ‘has’ का प्रयोग एकवचन कर्ता (Singular Subject) के साथ किया जाता है।
