What is the process of invention of Braille script by Louie Braille?
Answer:
Louie Braille invented the Braille Script. He belonged to France. Once he was playing in his father’s workshop, his eyes got injured. He became blind. Louie Braille was a brilliant student. He was being taught to use a special technique. One day, a captain of the army visited his school and he showed a script based on 12 dots developed by him, to the students and teachers. Louie Braille became highly impressed by the script.

He made many efforts and modified the 12 dots writing method mto 6 dots method. Therefore, 6 dots method script developed by Louie Braille was given the name Braille Script. Those persons, who cannot see, read and write with the help of Braille script.

Answer:
In Braille script, there are embossed indications for all the letters. In this system, the shapes of all the letters are formed with six embossed dots.

Question 3.
What is the application of Braille script?
Answer:
A thick sheet of paper is placed on a wooden slab. A special scale is there on the paper, on which there are grounds of 6 dots each in a row. On that paper, we write the letters bv making a noie accordingly with the help of a pomted pen, which is known as stvlus.

Eg. if we want to write a letter ‘A’ then, a hoie is made with a pomted pen on the first dot.
Alter this, the paper is turned over and the notes made can be felt as raised dots on the back side. By touching them, whatever is written on that paper can be read.
